A
professional Graphic Designer since 1980, Regina always had a strong attraction
for weaving and textiles. She participated in weaving classes and workshops
with a focus toward rug weaving. After moving to California in 2002, Regina
transitioned her design and color sense from the commercial design world
to the tactile,
hand-crafted art of weaving. She now weaves original rugs and tapestries
that combine her own sense of color and design with traditional Rio Grande
Tapestry
style
weaving to create strong, bold design statements.
